What VoiceMason does
A professional sends you a link with questions. You answer by speaking. We turn your spoken answers into text and a structured summary for the professional who sent the questions.
What we collect
- Voice recordings — processed to create a text transcript. Audio is transcribed and is not stored long-term; the transcript is what we keep.
- Your answers — transcripts, typed answers, and selections, plus your name and contact details if the questionnaire asks for them.
- AI-generated summaries — we use AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI) to transcribe audio and generate the report. These providers process your data to provide the service and do not train on it under their API terms.
- Basic usage data — page analytics to keep the service working well.
Who sees your answers
Only the professional or business who sent you the questionnaire (and people they share their account with). VoiceMason does not sell your data or use it for advertising. We access data only to operate and troubleshoot the service.
Where it lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Deletion & questions
Want your responses deleted, or have any question about your data? Email hello@voicemason.com and we'll take care of it promptly. You can also ask the professional who sent your questionnaire to remove it.
Not for medical use
VoiceMason is not a HIPAA-covered service and should not be used to collect protected health information.
